  2. ; The format of this file is exactly the same as that of the dxcc.list file
  3. ; and the CQWW program simply appends the calls in this file on the end of
  4. ; the dxcc.list.
  5. ; This wae list consists only of those "countries" which are in the WAE list
  6. ; but NOT in the dxcc.list. The country name in the first field must not
  7. ; exist in the dxcc.list. These WAE countries must also be specified so
  8. ; that they do not clash with existing countries in the dxcc.list and also
  9. ; in a way that the program can distinguish the new WAE countries from those
  10. ; in the dxcc.list. For example, notice that the specification for Sicily
  11. ; gives a new country prefix "IT", and also specifies the "it" callsign
  12. ; prefix which will distinguish Sicilian calls from any other Italian
  13. ; callsign. Similarly, note that in order to distinguish the Shetlands
  14. ; from Scotland, it has a new country prefix "GM/S" and in order to
  15. ; distinguish Shetlands calls from Scottish ones all the known calls have
  16. ; to be listed (there's no simple way to wildcard this one!).
  17. ; At the moment I do not have a list of calls on Bear or Spitzbergen so you
  18. ; must NOTE that in order for the program to distinguish between Bear Island
  19. ; and Spitzbergen (Svalbard) YOU must add the callsigns of the stations
  20. ; in this list. The program has no way of telling whether a JW is on Bear
  21. ; or Spitzbergen. This is similar to the list for the Shetlands which
  22. ; lists all known callsigns of those Scottish amateurs living in the
  23. ; Shetlands.
